West Yorkshire
Geoff and Ann were kind enough to drive me around to discover the best of West Yorkshire. I thought at first it'll be a lame visit to the museums and castles but to my surprise I kinda enjoy this educational visit. The historical tour took us back to as far as the 17th century.

First we went to the Bradford Industrial Museum where you could find, among many others, all sorts of looms to process wool. In the past, Bradford was famous for its textile industries. There was an exhibition of model engineering going on in the museum too. Miniature models of particularly train steam engines everywhere in the display area! Sometimes the world of engineering really amaze me.

The journey continued with Saltaire, East Riddlesden Hall, driving up the moores for a good view of Keighley and then the Cliffe Castle. We stopped at Websters in Baildon for fish&chips on the way to Keighley. It is Geoff's most favourite F&C place in the whole universe. Oh dear it was the best F&C I've ever had! Na'ah not sharing it with anyone. It was getting dark when we got to Cliffe Castle, no photos, what a shame. On our way back to Nottingham, we dropped by at Geoff's cousin's for tea. Her name is Brenda, a lovely but dominant Yorkshire lady.

We were trying to do too much that day, be it rain or shine. I was knackered by the time we got back to Nottingham where I spent the night at Katie's, a good old friend of mine. Before I doze off, I was wondering, it would have been nicer if my everdearest could share this experience with me. Miss u loads!
